"Harold & Kumar" star Kal Penn has joined the cast of 24 Season 6.

It's said he will be a bad guy and will be involved with the Islamic guru running the neighborhood mosque and could play a part in the main terrorist plot in season 6.

As well 24 star "Elisha Cuthbert" was on the "Jimmy Kimmel" show last week and said that she has not been contacted about season 6, possibly showing another break for the character or possibly the end of Kim Bauer on 24. Cuthbert said she was open to the idea of coming back to season 6.

And in a reveal, Elisha said that the original script said that her character, Kim Bauer, was to kill Nina Myers before the script changed.

Definately would have been interesting to see Kim kill Nina.  I don't know if it would top Jack killing her though.  I think they made a smart move on having Jack kill her instead of Kim.

I liked it the way it happened with here staying up until the end of Season 3, being killed in Season 1 it would of been a surprise but by the end of the third season Nina was one of the biggest surprises as well as one of the best baddies.

Nina killing Jack's wife and pulling the wool over CTU's eyes as well as killing that lady from season 1, worked better since he had more reasons to kill Nina IMO.
